NORMAN, Okla. -- Talk to recruits from all over the nation who are making official visits to Oklahoma this weekend for the showdown against Notre Dame, and atmosphere is the No. 1 reason why they're attending the game.
It might sound crazy to call this the biggest home game at OU in Bob Stoops' tenure. But if Stoops himself will say it's the most anticipated home matchup since the Sooners played Nebraska in 2000, then maybe it's not that far-fetched.
If Oklahoma's game against Notre Dame comes even remotely close to duplicating that feeling from the 2000 game against No. 1 Nebraska, it's going to be a magical weekend on the field and on the recruiting trail.
