Sooners add receiver to 2012 class

NORMAN, Okla. -- The recruiting intensity at the wide receiver position for Oklahoma's 2013 class has picked up in the last couple of weeks.
But OU wide receivers coach Jay Norvell wasn't quite done with the 2012 group. Junior college receiver LaColtan Bester (De Kalb, Miss./East Mississippi CC) confirmed he has signed a letter of intent Saturday to play for the Sooners.
Bester, who is 6-foot-3 and 205 pounds, was a member of the East Mississippi Community College team that won the NJCAA championship. He received major interest before national signing day from schools like Kentucky and Baylor but nothing ever materialized.
