The 2012 recruiting classes for Oklahoma and Oklahoma State haven't produced any heated head-to-head battles.
But there certainly have been a few in the past between OU head coach Bob Stoops and OSU head coach Mike Gundy. And what 2012 lacked will be made up for in the impending battles for 2013 recruits.
Two of the state's top 2013 prospects -- defensive end D.J. Ward (Lawton, Okla./Lawton) and quarterback Brayden Scott (Tahlequah, Okla./Sequoyah) -- have shown interest in both the Sooners and Cowboys.
