Polo Manukainiu happy to switch sides
6-foot-5, 255 pound defensive end grew up a Texas Longhorns fan

IRVING, Texas -- For years, defensive end Polo Manukainiu (Euless, Texas/Trinity) had a strong feeling about where he was going to attend college. He grew up a Texas Longhorns fan and thought he would be flashing the "Hook 'Em Horns" sign for years to come.
Manukainiu used to wear Longhorns gear to school. He used to bleed burnt orange. Not anymore.
On Sept. 5, Manukainiu committed to Oklahoma, accepting the scholarship offer that never came from his longtime favorite school and Oklahoma's fiercest rival.
