With the Sooners on a bye week, the Oklahoma football coaching staff hit the road last weekend.
Running backs coach Cale Gundy and defensive tackles coach Jackie Shipp were in Tulsa to watch the Jenks, Okla., and Tulsa, Okla./Union showdown. OU commit Alex Ross rushed for 136 yards on 14 carries in Jenks' 41-19 loss.
Defensive backs coach Willie Martinez went south to watch Corey Coleman (Richardson, Texas/Pearce), a Baylor wide receiver commitment since May. In fact, his Facebook profile says "Corey Baylor Bound Coleman."
SoonerNation: Baylor commit Corey Coleman is visiting Oklahoma in Norman and said he's still interested in the Sooners.
