Je'lon Hornbeak commits to Sooners
Class of 2012 shooting guard said he likes the family atmosphere of Oklahoma

NORMAN, Okla. -- A lot of top basketball recruits can score, and shooting guard Je'lon Hornbeak (Arlington, Texas/Grace Prep Academy) is no different.
But where he is different is on the other side of the ball. Scoring wasn't the first thing Arlington Grace Prep coach Ray Forsett mentioned about what makes Hornbeak such a special player. It's defense.
Hornbeak's defensive mentality is going to fit right in at Oklahoma, as he became the second verbal commit for first-year coach Lon Kruger and the 2012 class.
