ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- A fervent fan base clamoring for a big-time bowl game. A marquee quarterback who is one of the most electrifying players in college football leading a 10-win team with a first-year head coach.
And a brand name that almost automatically draws eyes to television sets due to the largest living alumni base in the country.
That, simply, is what makes Michigan attractive to bowl games and why the Wolverines will get a good destination Sunday when bowl pairings are officially announced.
