In wake of recent college scandals, Michigan AD emphasizes methodical approach

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The past 12 months have been full of scandal in college sports -- both in violation of NCAA rules and legal statutes.
As part of a half-hour Q&A with Michigan athletic director Dave Brandon, WolverineNation discussed how Brandon handles hiring practices within the Michigan athletic department and what reform the NCAA needs.
WolverineNation: If you look at what has happened in college sports since August, with all the scandals (Penn State and Syracuse), has that changed how you approach hiring somebody? Have you added more background checks? Do you look at things more closely?
