Analysis: Michigan secondary, linebackers are loaded, but defensive line is thin

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The Michigan defense made a massive turnaround this season with mostly the same players from a year ago.

Now, though, it'll have to replace some of its most reliable players, as defensive linemen Mike Martin and Ryan Van Bergen will graduate after the Sugar Bowl. If you're looking for the biggest hole on next year's roster, it starts there and could affect the entire defense and what coordinator Greg Mattison would like to call next season.
