ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Denard Robinson had what can be described only as an up-and-down season. One week, he'd look strong running and passing and be the picture of efficiency.
The next, he'd be turnover-prone, hesitant running the ball and making poor decisions throughout the game.
Despite that inconsistency, Robinson managed to lead the Big Ten in total offense with 268.2 yards a game and finished fifth in the league in rushing (96.9 yards a game) and passing efficiency (142.2 rating).
