Tape analysis: Gardner plays well for injured Robinson; both lines had strong games

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Michigan had its best defensive performance of the season, saw a quarterback other than Denard Robinson see extended action and had yet another career day for running back Fitzgerald Toussaint.

It all led to one of Michigan's most complete games of the season, a 31-14 road win over Illinois. After watching the game again Sunday, here's what stood out.
