Michigan is stocking up on D, but its rivals have offensive firepower
ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The improvement from Michigan's defense in the 2011 season was something fans hope continues in the future. Defensive coordinator Greg Mattison has a clear plan for restructuring the defense, and by all accounts it is headed in the right direction.
Michigan's recruiting efforts on defense have been stellar, and are helping give hope for things to come in Ann Arbor.
