2014 DE McDowell turns heads
At 6-6, 270 and growing, prospect has Michigan, others mesmerized

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Malik McDowell (Detroit/Loyola) had an offer from Michigan even before he had his driver's permit.
The 6-foot-6, 270-pound defensive end could be considered a bit of an early bloomer, but he doesn't plan on slowing down. The 2014 target is quickly picking up interest from major schools as a sophomore.
And if it were up to him, he'd commit as early as possible, but his parents are forcing him to hold off for at least a few months.
