Morris looking to improve
Michigan QB commit hopes to grow from uneven performance in Dallas

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- It wasn't exactly what 2013 quarterback commit Shane Morris (Warren, Mich./De La Salle) was hoping for.
He had travelled 1,200 miles and missed school to get to the Elite 11 regional quarterback camp in Dallas. But at the end of the day, Morris sat on the sidelines as six quarterbacks competed in the final two-minute drill. And then, when they announced the signal caller who would be invited to final Elite 11 event in July in Southern California, he didn't hear his name.
"I did pretty well, but I definitely didn't do as well as I wanted to," Morris said. "I had some bad throws -- that was the part that was disappointing."
