Phoenix WR sitting on early U-M offer
Track star Devon Allen will consider Midwest schools despite distance from home

In recent years the state of Arizona has been good to Michigan, producing starters and high school teammates Craig Roh and Taylor Lewan. It isn't a state that is tapped very often by the Wolverines, but there have been some top prospects as of late on Michigan's radar.
In 2012 Michigan offered offensive lineman Andrus Peat, athlete D.J. Foster and quarterback Connor Brewer. None chose to come to Ann Arbor. Nevertheless, the staff has decided to go back to the desert and has offered wide receiver Devon Allen (Phoenix/Brophy)..
Allen (6-foot-1, 194 pounds) already holds offers from Arizona State, Stanford, Michigan and Colorado State.
