In recent years the state of Arizona has been good to Michigan, producing starters and high school teammates Craig Roh and Taylor Lewan. It isn't a state that is tapped very often by the Wolverines, but there have been some top prospects as of late on Michigan's radar.
In 2012 Michigan offered offensive lineman Andrus Peat, athlete D.J. Foster and quarterback Connor Brewer. None chose to come to Ann Arbor. Nevertheless, the staff has decided to go back to the desert and has offered wide receiver Devon Allen (Phoenix/Brophy)..
Allen (6-foot-1, 194 pounds) already holds offers from Arizona State, Stanford, Michigan and Colorado State.
2013 WR Devon Allen (Phoenix/Brophy) has enough interest in academics that he's exploring schools in Midwest including Michigan despite the distance from home.
