2012 RB charts own course to U-M
Drake Johnson runs for Pioneer but attends alternative Community High School

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Despite his Pioneer High School football uniform, 2012 running back commit Drake Johnson won't be found in the halls of Pioneer High School on school days.
The senior actually attends Community High School -- an alternative high school in Ann Arbor located just a few miles north of Pioneer. His older brother had attended the school, and Johnson decided as an eighth grader that he would as well.
"It was more of a learning environment at Community," Johnson said. "I felt comfortable there."
