ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Michigan's depth chart, or lack of depth chart as the case may be, has been one of the most talked-about topics of late. While depth issues are not good problems to have, Brady Hoke might be able to turn it into a positive on the recruiting trail.

The Wolverines' lack of depth has huge potential for incoming recruits.

The most pressing needs appear to be on the defensive side of the ball, and the thought of immediate playing time helped many of Michigan's defensive commits along with their decision.
