ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- This Saturday in Pontiac, Mich. some big names will be competing at the Adidas Who's Next Top 250 showcase. There will be more than 100 prospects at the event, so here's a brief rundown of who will be there and what to watch for.
Top defensive prospects: There seem to be a few really big defensive names in attendance this weekend, and the top three all hold Michigan offers. Obviously, 2014 cornerback Damon Webb (Detroit/Cass Tech) will be there. The ESPN Watch List prospect rarely misses any opportunity to compete and now that his high school season is over, he's brining the focus back to his recruitment.
He will be joined by several Cass Tech teammates, as expected. Non-Cass Tech Detroiters also will be well represented, as 2014 defensive end Malik McDowell (Detroit/Loyola) will be in attendance. His performance at a similar event last summer brought him quite a bit of attention, and the ESPN Watch List defensive end will see some good competition in the one-on-ones.
