Recruiting lags at skill positions
Coaches chase top WRs, RBs -- spots at which they have had past success

Michigan coach Brady Hoke has scorched the recruiting trail, landing highly ranked prospects at almost every position group.
However, Hoke and his staff have yet to score big at the offensive skill positions of wide receiver and running back. The highest-ranked skill player Michigan has recruited outside of quarterback Shane Morris is wide receiver Jaron Dukes (Columbus, Ohio/Marion-Franklin), the No. 34 receiver overall.
It's a source of consternation for the fan base.
