BOLINGBROOK, ILL. -- Seven years ago, in his first season coaching the Bolingbrook High School secondary, when his playing days at Michigan and in the NFL were over, Todd Howard made a prediction.

"You're going to play at Michigan," he said about Parrker Westphal, who was then just a grade-schooler hanging around Bolingbrook practices, the younger brother of varsity player Brandon Westphal.

Mostly, the prediction was in good fun. But what the former Wolverines defensive back really meant was that he saw enough potential in the youngster to know he would do everything he could to get Westphal to the point in his game where he was skilled enough to attend a program like Michigan's.
