GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- As 2014 left tackle recruit Tommy Doles (Grand Rapids, Mich./Grand Rapids Christian) sat in Michigan Stadium on Saturday, he reminded himself that he was not there as a fan. But amidst the sea of maize, the B-2 stealth bomber flyover and the Michigan Marching Band's booming music, it was easy to forget sometimes. But he had come to the Big House with a mission: to take in his first game as a recruit at a school that has already offered him a scholarship. And by the time the game actually kicked off, he had remembered that and began watching the game differently than he ever had before.
"I'm really watching the coaches during the game," Doles said. "Just watching the kind of scheme the O-linemen are doing. I'm watching it more than just seeing football and who's scoring. & I watched Taylor Lewan a lot and I'm just watching to see the technique he's using and how he carries stuff out."
