As if Michigan needs any more help on the recruiting trail, the Wolverines will play Alabama on a national stage at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas to open the season. The implications of this game for Michigan's recruiting efforts in the future could be huge.

Alabama comes in as the favorite, question marks on the roster here and there, but the favorite no less. The Crimson Tide are expected to win, yet Michigan still benefit from playing in this game, win or lose.

"This game really does help Michigan. That's one of the biggest reasons why you go to Michigan, to play on the big stage," 2013 commit Logan Tuley-Tillman (Peoria, Ill./Manual) said. "If [Michigan] wins then it does a lot. It shows that we're serious."
