Rivals to join forces at Michigan
Longtime foes Butt, Charlton will leave Ohio and play together in a different rivalry

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- For another year, Jake Butt (Pickerington, Ohio/Pickerington North) and Taco Charlton (Pickerington, Ohio/Pickerington Central) will be rivals. And for the four years after that, they will become teammates, but rivals of their home state.
Both committed to the Wolverines a week and a half ago, shortly after the Michigan men's basketball team beat Ohio State.
"I grew up an Ohio State fan," Butt said. "But it took only about a week for me to get converted into a Michigan fan. It was the week they offered. It took one text. When I heard I got offered by Michigan, I was already up to it."
