WR's mom joins for recent visit

Illinois two-sport star Treadwell is building a comfort level with Michigan's coaches

CRETE, Ill. -- Putting in some extra work after basketball practice, wide receiver Laquon Treadwell (Crete, Ill./Crete-Monee) usually can be found in the gym or in the weight room. The two-sport athlete excels at everything he does and has been hearing from football programs across the country.

"He's a tremendous athlete, one of the best I've ever had," Crete basketball coach Tom Cappel said. "I've had some two-sport players before, and (Treadwell) is the best. He's just that type of kid that he's good at everything."
