It's likely that even the Michigan coaching staff came away surprised with what turned out to be a blockbuster Saturday, as six top prospects including four on the offensive side decided to pledge to the Wolverines.
Running back Wyatt Shallman (Novi, Mich./Detroit Central Catholic), defensive end Taco Charlton (Pickerington, Ohio/Central), offensive linemen Kyle Bosch (Wheaton, Ill./St. Francis) and Chris Fox (Parker, Colo./Ponderosa), and Detroit Cass Tech teammates David Dawson, another offensive lineman, and Jourdan Lewis, a defensive back, all pulled the trigger early for the maize and blue.
Michigan fans were hoping that the 2013 recruiting class would mirror in many ways the 2012 class, given the quality of prospects and how fast Michigan got those commitments. It looks like those fans will get their wish and then some as Michigan already is off to a hot start.
