The Penn State debacle has put a lot of the Nittany Lion commitments in limbo. Without a head coach some have decommitted and others are waiting to see who the university will hire to lead the program.
Four-star defensive back Armani Reeves (West Roxbury, Mass./Catholic Memorial) is one of the commitments who has decided to remain committed. Because of the unique situation he is in, he has decided not to speak with the media very often.
Reeves wants to give Penn State the opportunity to hire a new coach and hear what he has to say before making any moves.
"I'm still committed to Penn State. I'm in the waiting stage right now," he said. "I am exploring my options to see what other schools have to offer in case anything doesn't go as planned. That way I have another school that I like."
Michigan and Notre Dame are after Armani Reeves, but he wants to wait for the Nittany Lions to name a new coach before deciding his future.
