Michigan and Ohio State played their annual rivalry game this past weekend, but someone who wasn't even at Michigan Stadium stole the show with reports he would be hired to coach the Buckeyes.
Now that Urban Meyer is the coach at Ohio State, the recruiting landscape in Columbus changes almost instantly.
Meyer comes back to the Buckeyes after serving as a graduate assistant from 1986-87, but he made his biggest mark as the head coach of the Florida Gators from 2005-10. With two BCS national championships under his belt, Meyer and the Buckeyes have made a huge splash with this hire.
Urban Meyer's hire at Ohio State will have far-reaching implications in Big Ten recruiting circles, particularly for Brady Hoke and Michigan.
