Detroit Crockett High School is the home to three Class of 2013 prospects hoping to make their mark on the recruiting process. Defensive back Desmond King and twins Khalid and Khalil Hill are all going through the process together one step at a time.

King started playing football when he was 5, and even played on the Westside Cubs team as a youngster with Michigan commitments Terry Richardson (Detroit/Cass Tech), Royce Jenkins-Stone (Detroit/Cass Tech) and James Ross (Orchard Lake, Mich./St. Mary's).

"We've all been playing against each other now for some time," King said. "We still talk, but we just played their team and there was some talk on the field, but it's all competition."
