Walton Sr. wants 2013 Michigan commit to take reins and develop into floor general

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- At Chandler Park Academy's practices so far this season, Eagles coach Derrick Walton Sr. has dug into his point guard.
If he sees something he doesn't like, Walton lets his floor leader hear about it. This is about developing leadership, about taking accountability for what your teammates are doing. If a teammate throws up a bad shot, Walton Sr. wants his point guard to speak up.
Michigan 2013 commit Derrick Walton Jr. (Detroit/Chandler Park Academy) understands this. It is his job, after all.
