Mitch McGary, a 6-foot-10 power forward ranked No. 2 in the ESPNU 100, took an official visit to Michigan over the weekend.

The Wolverines are in the Indiana native's final six schools. They're joined by Duke, Florida, Kentucky, Maryland and North Carolina.

David Dixon/TNL1Mitch McGary is 6-10 force whom ESPN recruiting analyst Dave Telep calls a guy who "gives off the 'don't mess with me' vibe."
John Beilein's recruiting has improved since arriving in Ann Arbor in 2007, but the coach hasn't been close to landing anyone ranked as highly as McGary, who's a program changer. If they nab him, they could be grabbing the final piece to an immensely talented team.
