2013 recruit Karl Malone Jr. visits LSU

Son of former NBA great Karl Malone being recruited as offensive lineman

BATON ROUGE, La. -- LSU continues to familiarize itself with promising prospects in the class of 2013.

The Tigers already have five commitments and have extended more scholarship offers. As big a start as that might be, LSU is still drawing interest from notable members of this upcoming class. One of those is noteworthy in his own right -- both on and off the football field.

LSU got a visit last week from Karl Malone Jr. (Ruston, La./Cedar Creek) -- a 2013 offensive tackle prospect and son of Basketball Hall of Famer Karl Malone  and LSU offered the standout.
