BATON ROUGE, La. -- The recruiting class of 2012 is barely a week old, and already the work begins for 2013.
LSU began in earnest this past weekend and added its second and third commitments for 2013 at junior day, an event held to allow rising seniors to tour the program. The Tigers seemed to add to the offensive side of the ball Saturday, as both commitments came from high school wide receivers -- Tre'Davious White (Shreveport, La./Green Oaks) and Chuck Baker (Slidell, La./Salmen). Officially, White is projected as an athlete.
The haul capped off what has been an interesting week in the early-going for the 2013 class. In the past eight days, LSU has gone from one commitment to zero, then back to one before adding two and three.
