ATHENS, Ga. -- For someone who opted to run track on a lark, Justin Scott-Wesley certainly knows how to make a strong first impression.
In his first meet as a Georgia sprinter, the freshman football player posted one of the best times in the program's history in the 60-meter dash -- not even his best event.
"The 60-meter is not really my thing," said Scott-Wesley, whose 6.80-second run in the Mark Colligan Invitational tied former UGA football player Albert Hollis for the school's ninth-best time in the event. "I've never really ever done indoor track. That first meet was my first indoor meet ever, and that was my first time running the 60."
