Former C Nick Jones flourishes in grad assistant role, sets sights on coaching career

ATHENS, Ga. -- Eventually, Nick Jones began to interpret the same frequent question as a sign.
When he played at Georgia from 2003 to 2006, the All-SEC center intended to spend a few seasons in the NFL and then put to use his degree in risk management and insurance. Coaching football was never on the radar.
Life seldom works out exactly as planned, however.
