Early speculation pointed to tenure ending; now coach embraces contract talks

ATHENS, Ga. -- Coaching college football is not an advisable career path for those seeking a permanent residence.
Because of the transient nature of the profession -- and the typical coach's occasionally antsy disposition -- it is unusual for most to stay in one location for any significant length of time.
That personality type does not fit Georgia's Mark Richt.
