Position analysis: Strong secondary making plays; special teams have underperformed

Editor's note: Georgia's bye week provides a good opportunity to re-examine the first half of the season and evaluate the Bulldogs' performance at each position. DawgNation will analyze a position group each day this week and break down Georgia's recruiting efforts at each position. With our final review, we look at the secondary and special teams.
Georgia's secondary has been a success by every measure this season.
The Bulldogs have prevented opponents from hitting a pass of more than 20 yards in three full games and have surrendered only two pass plays of more than 35 yards all year -- one for 38 against Ole Miss and one for 43 last week against Vanderbilt.
