MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. -- Georgia might be adding a commitment to its Class of 2012 soon. If the stars align for Mario Alford's (Greenville, Ga./Georgia Military College) official visit, scheduled for this weekend, the Bulldogs could get some much-needed help in the secondary.
"I am going to go up there, have a good time, show my face and let them know I really want to be a Bulldog. Hopefully I get an offer," Alford told DawgNation on Monday. "Scott Lakatos called me last night and told me about my official visit. He said I would be staying in downtown Athens at a hotel. I told him I was excited about it."
The talented juco athlete had a hard time finding the words for what an offer from the Bulldogs would mean.
