Coach's corner: Shaq Wiggins

Cornerback Shaq Wiggins (Tyrone, Ga./Sandy Creek) became Georgia's fourth verbal commitment for the 2013 recruiting class last Friday. Wiggins is already on the ESPNU 150 Watch List and has offers from major programs all over the nation. DawgNation spoke with Sandy Creek defensive backs coach David Cooper to get some more insight about just what type of player the Bulldogs will be getting in Wiggins.
RN: What has made Wiggins such a coveted cornerback?
DC: His biggest advantage was that he got to go against Ja'Quay Williams every day in practice all last year, and I think that helped him tremendously. One thing he does not lack is confidence. It does not matter who he is going against, he is going to be more confident than that person. I find it hard to believe he is going to go up against somebody that he's not more confident than.
