UGA progeny gains attention

ATLANTA -- Junior offensive tackle William Jones (Augusta, Ga./Richmond Academy) recently learned one of the fundamental rules of being a big-name college athlete: always have a pen on you.
At last month's Rising Seniors camp here, an unidentified man came up to Jones and asked for his autograph. Jones, who had to borrow a pen, obliged the grateful fellow, giving the first autograph of his career.
"Well, that was a pretty interesting experience," Jones said. "But an autograph is an autograph."
