ATLANTA -- Junior offensive tackle William Jones (Augusta, Ga./Richmond Academy) recently learned one of the fundamental rules of being a big-name college athlete: always have a pen on you.
At last month's Rising Seniors camp here, an unidentified man came up to Jones and asked for his autograph. Jones, who had to borrow a pen, obliged the grateful fellow, giving the first autograph of his career.
"Well, that was a pretty interesting experience," Jones said. "But an autograph is an autograph."
Class of 2013 OT William Jones, whose father played safety for the Georgia Bulldogs, is gaining confidence and attention after playing in last month's Georgia Junior Bowl.
