ATHENS, Ga. -- The University of Georgia, at the moment, has 10 spots available for the 2012 class. With less than four months until signing day, DawgNation takes a look at 10 prospects who might be on the cusp of getting offers, beginning with five on offense.
Georgia would like to sign two running backs in this class, and two in-state seniors are making a case for consideration. Miles Jones (Acworth, Ga./Allatoona) has put up some monster numbers this year. In eight games, the 5-foot-9, 200-pound senior has 170 carries for 1,252 yards and 18 touchdowns, along with five catches for 66 yards and a touchdown. Jones attended Dawg Night in July, and Georgia has recently been in touch. The productive senior is hoping the Bulldogs give him a chance to play for them.
"Georgia asked for my senior film, so hopefully they will like what they see," Jones said.
