Theus set to join brother in Athens
Four-star OT doing his best to ensure more top prospects join him in Dawgs' 2012 class

John Theus (Jacksonville, Fla./Bolles) made his much-anticipated commitment to Georgia in July during the Dawg Night elite prospect camp. But as is often the case with elite prospects, that has not stopped other programs in their pursuit of the 6-foot-6, 295-pound offensive tackle.
Florida, Notre Dame and Texas have stayed in contact with Theus, with the Fighting Irish securing an official visit with the four-star prospect.
"Notre Dame has always been looking at me and has always kept in touch with me," Theus said. "I have been honest with them in saying I am 100 percent a Dawg, but they still want me to take an official. I am going there Oct. 22, and I am really excited about it."
