Top remaining targets for 2012
With 10 scholarships to go, Georgia's wish list on defense topped by linebackers

ATHENS, Ga. -- With 15 prospects committed, the University of Georgia has 10 more spots to fill in the 2012 class. In the second of this two-part feature (check out the offensive targets here), DawgNation takes a look at five targets on defense that coach Mark Richt and his staff would love to have suiting up in Red and Black come next fall. It just so happens all of them are in-state players.
Josh Harvey-Clemons, OLB, 6-5, 215
Valdosta, Ga./Lowndes
It makes sense to start with Harvey-Clemons. The versatile outside linebacker whose athleticism is off the charts is the top prospect in Georgia. The Bulldogs offered the Valdosta native first, in June 2010, and since then have been attempting to sell Harvey-Clemons on being the next great Lowndes product to work with defensive coordinator Todd Grantham. One of the highlights during Grantham's time with the Dallas Cowboys was coaching defensive lineman Jay Ratliff, a Lowndes alumni, to his first Pro Bowl.
