Coveted 2012 DB remains undecided among Georgia, South Carolina and Vanderbilt

On Aug. 26, the fans of three Southeastern Conference schools kept refreshing their message boards, checking their email, and watching their Twitter feeds looking for the big news. They were all waiting to see which university defensive back Chaz Elder (College Park, Ga./Banneker) was going to pick.
They would be left waiting.
Elder decided to postpone his commitment announcement, disappointing South Carolina fans but giving hope to followers of Georgia and Vanderbilt. The conventional wisdom was that Elder was going to announce his commitment to the Gamecocks.
