With each week that goes by, Brice Ramsey (Kingsland, Ga./Camden County) is eradicating one of the few concerns in his game: lack of starting experience. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound junior has led his team to a dominating 4-0 start, outscoring teams 199 to 27 and vaulting the Wildcats to a consensus top-30 national ranking.
But a recent visit to Gainesville, Fla., and Saturday's decommitment from Georgia of 2013 wide receiver and close friend Tramel Terry (Goose Creek, S.C./Goose Creek) has brought new concerns about Ramsey's commitment to the Bulldogs.
With Terry visiting Clemson, running back Derrick Henry (Yulee, Fla./Yulee) taking in a game at Florida State, and Ramsey at Florida, Georgia was seemingly in danger of losing its heralded 2013 trio of Dawg Night commitments. Florida Gators coach Will Muschamp and offensive coordinator Charlie Weis made sure to let Ramsey know he is a priority recruit.
2013 QB prospect Brice Ramsey says Florida is working him hard, but he remains firm in his commitment to Georgia.
