The University of Georgia looks to make it two in a row when it travels to Oxford to take on Ole Miss on Saturday. The Bulldogs coaching staff would like to build momentum on the field as it hopefully could lead to the same on the recruiting trail. UGA is sitting on 14 commitments in the 2012 class, so there is plenty of work to be done. DawgNation is always available to answer your recruiting questions. Let's dive in.
How are the Dawgs looking for Yuri Wright?
ESPNU 150 prospect Yuri Wright does not give too many interviews, but the talented cover corner cannot deny that his phone has been blowing up, with college coaches calling from coast to coast. While Michigan is a strong contender that probably will get Wright on an official visit in the next two weeks, schools such as California and Georgia are in the mix as well. Wright has mentioned his desire to play in the SEC and play far away from home, two factors in the Bulldogs' favor. Also, do not count out Georgia secondary coach Scott Lakatos, a New Jersey native who recruited the Garden State while coaching at Connecticut and Rutgers. Lakatos has targeted mostly tall, long athletes to play corner, so the Don Bosco target would seem like a perfect fit for the scheme. If Bulldogs get Wright on campus, anything is possible.
