ATHENS, Ga. -- Wilcox County might be a single-A program, but coach Mark Ledford knows that there is something in the water that breeds top talent. Record-setting quarterback Nick Marshall is at Georgia, his half-brother, 6-foot-7 juco wide receiver Lonnie Outlaw, is set to join him next year, and their cousin, 2013 wide receiver Jonathan Howard, might be next in line.
The 6-foot-5, 185-pound wideout has an early offer from Southern Miss, but he sees the family value in earning an offer from Georgia.
"Really if they offered me it would mean a lot," Howard said. "Being over there with my brother and my cousin and it being the in-state school, I would like that a lot. Georgia is good at every sport and all of my kinfolk are going there, so that might lead me there as well."
