Millen, a town of about 3,400 in eastern Georgia, is not known for being a hotbed of gridiron talent. While most of the rest of the Peach State is booming, Millen has seen its population decrease by about 11 percent in the last 20 years. More than a third of Millen residents live below the poverty level.
With an unemployment rate of more than 18 percent, the town's future is murky. What is clear is that Taylor and Deloach have bright futures.
