GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- GatorNation takes a look at the projected defensive depth chart for the 2012 Florida Gators in the upcoming spring practice. The offensive depth chart was examined on Wednesday. Classifications in parentheses are for the 2012 season, and an asterisk denotes a player who is supposed to enroll early:

Buck

Ronald Powell (Jr.), Lerentee McCray (RSr.), Kedric Johnson (RJr.)
Powell came on at the end of the 2011 after a disappointing start in which coach Will Muschamp called him out specifically. McCray was having a solid season until a shoulder injury caused him to miss four of the final five games. The Gators need to find an elite pass rusher, and this position is the one that's supposed to provide it.
