Florida has commitments from seven offensive players. Of those, five appear in the ESPNU 150, six if you include Omari Phillips, who could play on either line, offensive or defensive. Here is a position-by-position breakdown of some of the top offensive prospects remaining on the board for the Gators.
Quarterback
Florida landed two of the top prospects in the county last year with Jeff Driskel and Jacoby Brissett, both of whom have seen action as freshmen. Florida recruited 2012 prospects Gunner Kiel (6-foot-3/215 pounds, Columbus, Ind./East) and Washington commit Cyler Miles (6-4/220, Denver, Colo./Mullen) early on in the process, but it doesn't appear the Gators will sign a signal-caller in this class. Running back
Florida already has commitments for 2012 from two top running backs with Mike Davis (5-10/190, Stone Mountain, Ga./Stephenson) and power back Matt Jones (6-3/210, Seffner, Fla./Armwood). Davis had a monster senior season and potentially could move up in the rankings.
