Gators eager for Hargreaves' arrival
Florida is expecting a special athlete to step in at cornerback

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Florida has sent quite a list of defensive backs to the NFL through the past 11 seasons.
Since 2002, the Gators have had 12 defensive backs drafted -- not including Janoris Jenkins, who was dismissed from the team and was drafted out of North Alabama -- and at least one more will be selected in this April's draft.
Six of those 12 were cornerbacks, including two taken in the first round: Lito Sheppard in 2002 and Joe Haden in 2007. Additionally, Jenkins was a first-round talent who dropped to the second round because of his off-field issues.
